Matthew 11:28-30—“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Joel 2:13 - Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

Psalm 103:11-12—For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is God’s steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far he removes our transgressions from us.

2 Corinthians 5:17—So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation:  everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

John 10:10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.  I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Colossians 3:13—God has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin.
