John 10:10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.  I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

1 Peter 2:10 -- Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Matthew 22:37-39 - Jesus said to them, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind."  This is the greatest and first commandment.  And a second is like it:  "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

Matthew 25:34-37—“Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and your visited me.’”

John 8:12 - Again Jesus spoke to them saying, "I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life."

Proverbs 3:5-6—Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Joel 2:13 - Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.
